Sophia High School is now accepting registrations for the 2020 - 2021 Academic Year for students entering Year 1 - Year 9.

Sophia High Admission Registration Deadline and Intake Dates for academic year 2020/21 are as follows:

Term 1

  • 7 September 2020 - Start of the Academic Year
  • 21st September 2020 (Cut off 14th September)
  • 28 September 2020 (Cut off: 21st September 2020)
  • 2nd November 2020 (Cut off 16th October 2020)

Term 2

  • 4 January 2021 (Cut off: 9th December 2020)
  • 1 February 2021 (Cut off: 22nd January 2021)
  • 22 February 2021 (Cut off: 8th February 2021)

 

Term 3

  • 19 April 2021 (Cut off: 26th March 2021)
  • 10 May 2021 (Cut off: 3rd May 2021)

Admissions Process

Sophia High welcomes applications from all nationalities and ability groups.
We are currently enrolling children from Year 1 to Year 9.

Admission

To make an application, please complete the Registration Form online together with the supporting documents and the Registration Fee of £50 GBP to the school.

Following submission of your registration form, our admissions team will send you a direct link to complete the registration payment. Our Education will then be in touch to discuss your application further and outline details for assessment.

Supporting Documents Required for Admission

  • A copy of your child’s birth certificate.
  • A copy of your child’s passport, (visa if required for UK students).
  • A copy of both parents’ passport, (visa if required for UK students).
  • Passport size photo of your child (white background).
  • Previous years’ school reports.

Assessment & Offer

Assessment

Your child will be invited to take part in an online assessment session where they will take part in age appropriate activities designed so that we can understand your child more fully. These sessions are usually held with a small group of children.

Students are assessed based on their proposed year group of entry. Please see the following link for details on the U.K. Curriculum Year Group Allocations.

Whilst your child is being assessed, our team will be happy to answer any remaining questions that you may have.

Offers of Admission

We will confirm whether we are able to offer your child a place at the earliest once the education team has conducted a full review of the assessment. To secure your child’s place, we will need you to sign and return the Acceptance Agreement and Terms and Conditions, pay the Admission Deposit Fee and ensure that all documentation has been provided.
